I have extensive experience teaching Mapudungun at the university level, alongside a strong background in general and theoretical linguistics. My higher education teaching spans core subjects such as Historical Phonology and Cross-linguistic Variation at the University of Edinburgh, as well as dedicated courses in Mapuche Language and Culture at the Universidad de Concepción.
My academic activities closely bridge linguistic theory with community practice. This includes delivering international guest lectures on language documentation and learner dictionaries, as well as leading hands-on lexicographic training for language revitalization practitioners.
